Billy’s journey with GIST

Billy is a retired triathlon coach and longtime fishing guide from Victoria, Texas. What started as a stitch in his side turned out to be a 22-centimeter gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST).

In this video, Billy and Pat, his wife of 46 years, share what the diagnosis meant for them and how they have adjusted to life with GIST. Billy talks about taking things one step at a time, living in the present, and making the most of every moment.
